Happy Valentine's Day!!

I am hoping you all had a wonderful day with your special someones! In our act of thriftiness (is that a word?) I decreed that Valentines Day was to be especially frugal this year and we were only to give a gift that didnt cost us any money. A letter, a card...what ever. So I thought I was going to totally blow him out of the water with my gift :-) He had been saying that he needed recent pix of us for his new desk at work. I found a coupon code online for a free 8x10 photo collage that I made of recent pics of us. I was able to personalize it for him and put it into an unused frame that we already had. I was quite proud of myself for sure, I was thrifty AND creative...a win win right?

Um yeah. Tim won. Hands down. He broke my no spending rule and bought a 7.00 journal filled with fantastic verses. Then he wrote that it wasnt a journal for ME to write in, it was a journal for us to keep downstairs where everyone could access it. So that everyone could write simple litte notes and things to me as they wanted. Then he and each of the kids wrote wonderful notes to me. Did you guess that the tears were flowing??? I even forgave him for breaking the no spending rule *grin*

What a wondeful man I married over 15 years ago! I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
