We had quite a fun weekend spending time outdoors for what may be the last time this year. Tim and I took all the kids and one of Taylors friends as well as their cousin Lauren to Chain O' Lakes state park. We had hoped to go to Pokagon but didnt have enough time for the hour trip. We had such fun hiking and enjoying the weather as well as canoeing. What a beautiful day we were blessed with. It was so very nice to put all our chores and adoption worries aside and just enjoy our surroundings.
We had lots of fun and came home pretty wet but much more relaxed even though we were pretty tired. God is certainly amazing though...we were reflecting on that in the canoe with the kids and all that He created...all while singing row row row your boat..
Our good day didnt stop when we got home however..
We recieved our fingerprinting appt for Nov 13th at 12:00. I had received mine first and was concerned that Tim didnt have an appt the same date, but we got his appt as well!!
Also, We received a call from Greg (Tims brother and our relator) and we finally....after 5 Long months...
SOLD OUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YIPEE!! This has been such a burden on our budget and we were really contemplating renting it, but we sold it. Not for much money, but still...atleast no more payments! We have a tentative closing date of Dec 14th. It is sad, since this is the first house we owned and lots of great memories were made in the 10 years we lived there, but we definately couldn't continue making 2 mortgage payments. What a financial burden that has been lifted from us. The Lord has blessed us so very much. We are certain that He will continue to provide for us in our journey to bring home our son.
