They were great, and we met some wonderful families there as well. Our agency is so great in making sure that we are well infomed. My only complaint is that we didnt meet anyone who would be traveling about the same time we would be. I asked Vickie about this and evidently there are some families from out of state who could be going with us..I asked her to give them our email so we can be in contact and compare progress. It would be really nice to travel with a family who we already know (at least virtually)
We also spent the evening with great friends of ours (Hi Andy and Anita) and their kids, especially their adoptive daughter Kara who I snuggled all night. She is just gorgeous and we are planning a wedding between her and Sammy when they are all grown up..:-)
This evening we were blessed enough to spend some time with Tims Aunts from cleveland whom we dont see very often. All of the family showed up and we had a great meal and a good visit. It was kind of a practice thanksgiving since that will be at our house as well.
Oh....and I guess I did title the post New Pictures didnt I?
I opened my email this morning...something that I dont ever do on Sundays since it is supposed to be "no electronics" day, but there were no kiddos at home to tattle soooo....
There was a very nice email from a family who was kind enough to take our photo album to China for Sammy. (Thanks Ann and Mike!!) They said that the nannies started showing it to him right away and telling him what it said! They also said that he looked happy and healthy but still no smiles though...
Without further Ado...

Okay, so I had some time with the photo editing program that my friend Mandi told me about...she has done much better work than I have, but you can visit her site @ www.mattmandi.blogspot.com. Thanks Mandi!!
So all in all, a pretty good but busy weekend...
Blessings

3 little notes from friends:
OH, kiss those lips!!! What a doll! I cannot wait to see his first smile when he is finally home. And I can't wait until we can get all these Nanjing kids (including Sammy) together to play. Thanks for sharing.
Tara
Amy,
Sammy is the cutest. Like Tara, I cannot wait to get him home with all of our girls. Poor little guy is sure in for a shock when we place in in the center for our monthly "brown couch" photos.
I clearly remember those days being at the computer and hitting refresh waiting on new pictures of Mylee.
Byt the way, you did a great job with the photo editing.
Mandi
How Wonderful! He is just so adorable! Oh, how I wish that I could see if our Maylee was is in the group picture outside. We should be receiving our TA any day so I will let you know when we will be traveling and hopefully we can send some pics your way.
