Its care package time!!!!!!

I DID IT!!! I have to say that I was quite nervous/confused about how to go about sending a care package to Sammy all by my self. I figured I had better get over it because mailing a package has to be less scary that traveling there right? So I overcame my post office phobia :-) and brought my untaped box with a paper with the addy for the Nanjing SWI in English and Chinese.

Luckily I didnt tape the box (wasnt sure if customs forms needed to be inside or not) b/c we were over the 4lb limit by 1/2 an ounce! (the shipping price evidently jumps once you get over 4 lbs) So I took out one of the pairs of socks that were pictured and now we were good to go!

I sent over:
-an outfit
-a pair of pjs
-1 pair of socks
-1 pair of dino mittens
-1 picture book
-1 disposable camera (hopefully we will get this back on Gotcha day)
-1 panda bear webkins
-1 toy airplane
-1 box of animal crackers for Sammy & friends
-1 bag of M&Ms for the Nannies
-another photo book labled in english and Chinese

It ran me about 30 dollars to ship but at least our little guy will know that we are waiting for him!! I put his picture in the front of the photo book and attempted to write the chinese charecters for his name on the camera!

Hopefully they will get it in a week or so and that it will go to him. Nothing was really expensive incase we dont get it back, just some little things to let him know we are thinking of him and we love him...not to mention more pics so he gets used to our faces as well as pics of our animals!

No news on our LID yet, but there is a family who is traveling in the next month or so who will take over another toy or 2 from us and hopefully will get more pics!
