Hmmmm...That would be a picture of the tiny organism that has made me feel like I have been hit by a mack truck for the last 5 days!!
According to the CDC:
Influenza Symptoms
Influenza (also known as the flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by flu viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The flu is different from a cold. The flu usually comes on suddenly and may include these symptoms:
Fever (usually high)
Headache
Extreme tiredness
Dry cough
Sore throat
Runny or stuffy nose
Muscle aches
Stomach symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, also can occur but are more common in children than adults
These symptoms are usually referred to as "flu-like symptoms."
Ummm...Yeah, quick onset are the key words here...I worked Thursday got off at 2:30 and by 4:00 was in sweats, under 2 blankets and STILL shivering..!! YUCK
I am over the shivering part, but still am really weak as well as have a nasty nasty cough. Tim and I are currently debating whether or not I can go to work tomorrow....He is threatening to take my car keys if I try if that tells you anything! I am on the mend, but it has not been fun!!
The good news is that for the last 5 days I havent had the time, inclination or energy to worry or think about our adoption...Wow almost a week ago since our dossier took a long flight...hoping to hear we are logged in soon!
That's it...just wanted a new audience to whine to HAHA. Poor Taylor has been playing Mom and taking such good care of me, Poor Tim has had his hands full with the other two munchkins as well as doing the weekly cleaning, getting everyone to school, church ect..not to mention homework! Hopefully life will be back to our version of normal soon!
Blessings,

1 little notes from friends:
Amy,
Sounds like you and I are in the same boat. I awoke early Monday morning sitting on the toilet with a plastic bag in my lap (if ya get my drift). Luckily I am feeling MUCH better today. I did take off Monday and today, but will be ready to go back to work tomorrow. Fortunatly I don't get sick often, but when I do, I get really sick.
Hope you feel better soon,
Mandi
