Christmas blessings....

Well the day before Christmas eve actually...but what a wonderful gift it was. A while ago, I posted about Tim being laid off at work very soon. Well through a lot of prayer and a TON of work we went through our options...Tim interviewed for several jobs, we cut down on our budget even further, we explored moving to another state to make sure that we werent without a job when his plant finally closed.

We wanted to be obedient, wanted to go where God wanted us, wanted to trust in Him for guidance. But we really werent excited about moving from our family and friends and church. We didnt want to drag our kids to another school, to another home in another state. We didnt want to leave our support system, our church family or our neighbors.

God listened to our prayers and we have been so Greatly blessed! Tim was offered a job today, with a great company, with great benefits, and the best thing yet...IT IS LOCAL!!! Wooo HOOO!! It comes with its own set of things we need to work out, but Tim will be starting his new job Jan 11th!!

What a relief this is not to be hanging over our heads. We were ready and willing to go where God wanted us...but are so grateful that He wants us here to continue what we are doing! Tim is beginning to teach a class next month for new believers and I continue to be involved with the adoption ministry at church! We are so very excited to be able to stay and do those things!
