I am so excited since to me that feels like I actually have become a blogger for real now :-)Woo Hoo!!
Well I was welcomed back to "real" life yesterday...after a huge long day of traveling my darling hubby picked me up with the kids and then I reentered my world of paperwork and laundry. I swear every single piece of paper and piece of mail was stacked up on my counter to go through when I got home!! Not to mention all the laundry from my trip and what hadnt gotten finished while I was gone!
All in all, Tim did an awsome job and a HUGE thanks to my darling niece who managed the night shift while Tim was at work..Thanks Maddie!! My house was still standing, relatively clean and my kids were all still alive....a total sucess in my book!! It was an incredible treat to go and spend a week with my sister and her family!
My last couple of days with my sister were busy busy...pediatrician appts and a trip to IKEA took up one day...(HAVE to go to the one closest here soon....CHEAP!) and then we went to The Portland Chinese Gardens the last day. You can read about it Here
It was the best day...so relaxing and beautiful! My poor post C-section sis and I would walk a bit and then sit on the benches and talk for a while before we moved on! Talking is a rarity in person for us since any time she comes home it is "Auntie Ellen Auntie Ellen....." It was such a perfect day!
Although I havent been to China yet, this is what I imagine it to be like....

Totally Gorgeous!!

I "wore" Isabella since we didnt want anyone to get her ill....

This was our Yummy lunch at the Tea House

My beautiful sister...

I had the most incredible week with my sister and her hubby! They were perfect hosts, took great care of me and totally spoiled me while I was supposed to be taking care of them! Portland is a beautiful city and incredibly diverse! We ate Thai, Indian and Cajun just in the few days I was there. Lots and LOTS of cute coffee shops everywhere! I couldnt have asked for a better vacay! (ok...maybe next time I will bring my family too.... :-)
I am still adjusting to the time difference... (woke up at noon...9 am portland time) and catching up on the rest of my life, but it is nice to be home with my family! I have the day off tomorrow since I am now on my 3 day a week schedule so am hoping to get everything done in time to go back to work on Tuesday!
Blessings
Amy
