Ok...one of my "peeps" (hahaha) Rebecca and then Tara have done posts on Thrifty Thursday....
We are saving all our pennies for our adoption, so I havent been buying much of anything lately but found the Greatest thrifty purchase!! Sammys Toddler Bed!
I joined a yahoo group called fort wayne freecycle. The objective of the group is basically that "One persons trash is anothers treasure" People offer things that they want to get rid of for free and you just have to go and pick them up. Someone gets something that they may want and it keeps things out of landfills! You just post something you want to get rid of and it is normally first come first serve! I was able to get a practically new toddler bed for Sammy FOR FREE from a lady who was moving and just didnt want to mess with it. Let me tell you, I had some serious excitement there!
I also am unashamedly a garage sale junkie! LOVE THEM! This is my favorite time of year when all the additions are having their sales and I can hit tons at once! I went last weekend and got all of Zachs PJs for the summer and several pairs of wind pants and shorts for 5.00! Not to mention a HUGE stack of brand new Mad lib books for Emily for $1.00!! Lots of sales this weekend to keep me busy :-)

FREECYCLE! I LOVE Freecycle... I wish our neck of the woods had one! I checked a few months ago and they didn't. :( Wonder if I should start one???
I wish I had known you needed a toddler bed... I have one in my basement too!!! Oh well. :)
And I too love garage sales... I didn't go to many last year but I am REALLY excited about hitting a bunch this summer!!
