Sunny Days in Portland

We are sure keeping busy here in Portland OR. The weather is gorgeous here these last few days I have spent my mornings being walked by my sister's oh so smart dog! Mickey and I have been spending lots of time together taking long walks to the park and playing in the dog park. Oh do I wish we had a dog park at home (although jabba dog could never use it since he would just keep on running...think Marley and Me) they are oh so cool and Mickey is very smart and well behaved! My sister told me just to tell Mickey to take me to the park and he would bring me there and home again...Amazing...I didnt believe her of course and took my cell, but He sure did guide me home and then on to the coffee shop for a Latte for me and a well deserved Peanut dog treat for Mickey!

Baby wise my niece is beautiful and absolutely perfect! Ellen and Charles are doing so well with her and are completely enamoured with their new daughter...Cant you see why???

I have been getting a taste of their lovely city between dog and baby duties. I played tourist for a while in some of the really cool boutiques and coffee shops near the hospital. Coffee shops are EVERYWHERE...and they are always PACKED! The lifestyle here is so different then ours at home. Everything is much more laid back and relaxed. Dogs and bikes are pretty much all over and people walk everywhere! It is beautiful here!!

Tomorrow will be interesting since Ellen will be heading home for the first time since Friday!
