and real life resumes....

Up at 6:45
the rush to get the kids out the door
running errands
doing laundry
picking up from play practice
picking up a friend to play
taking to color guard
taking to football practice....

My life is is supposed to be resuming its regularly scheduled programming...the problem is that I feel like my head is stuck up in the clouds still! Jet lag is not a ton of fun. I got pretty good sleep last night, I am just in a funk and a bit overwhelmed with getting my life back on track and caring for a really active 3 year old.

Sammy is doing great however. He has a bit of OCD issues...today he was crying in the carseat (he hardly ever cries) so I stop the van to try and figure out what is going on....his shoulder strap from his carseat had slipped a bit. Major catastrophie for sure;-)
Other than his OCD issues, he is doing so very well. We had a great time at walmart (although I was sad to have to pay what was marked on the sticker..) picking out snacks, drinks and horses... We had some fun at Zachs football practice tonight too. He is such an easy going little boy and has such a joyful spirit. Tomorrow is more of the same for us, getting suitcases unpacked, mail gone through, bills paid...in between snuggles, tickles and laughter!!

Here are some great shots from our day:

In case you were wondering why Sammy always wears his hat backwards??

Taylor avoided the photos by being at color guard all night, but no worries...she has a football game on friday that she is performing in as well as an invitational on saturday. Lots of pictures to come!!

Great pics Amy! Glad to hear things are still going well. I know I keep saying this, but I CANNOT wait to meet Sammy.

Feel free to stop by if you are in our neighborhood. You know I am home everyday, all day.

Hugs,
Mandi
