Fun In Hong Kong...but ready to be home!

Whew...
Can you guess what we did today??

We have had a great time here in Hong Kong, but are oh so ready to be home with our family finally complete! We arrived in Hong Kong yesterday with no trouble, checked into our hotel and pretty much went to eat and then to bed. Today was our big day for sure!

We have discovered that for certain, Sammy fits into our family perfectly! You see, every ride, every charecter...He did it! Not scared of the crazy people dressed up in fur costumes in 99 degree 100% humidity weather at all! Every ride he could, he rode! We had a blast!! He is such an easy going little man for sure!! Disney was perfect as always, and we were so glad that we took the time to do it! Sammy really enjoyed it, and especially liked kidding around with the charecters! It was the perfect end to our trip. I would recommend it to anyone! Hong Kong Disney isnt as large as Magic Kingdom in Orlando, and was perfect for just one day of touring...Oh and btw...Angie and Gary, we actually opened and CLOSED the park hehehehe

It was a great place for the kids to get to be kids and not be cooped up in resturants, hotel rooms and shopping malls! I highly recomend it to anyone adopting around Sammys age or older or if you are bringing siblings! We totally loved it! Oh, and one of the biggest selling points, we went on a saturday and expected it to be mobbed, but not more than a 5 minute wait...for anything...not even the charecters!!! That was worth it in and of itself!

Hong Kong is gorgeous! We woke up to mountains around us as well as the ocean. Disney is beautiful, but even more so with gorgeous mountains visible behind it. I would have liked to have had more time to tour, but we are ready to finally have all our children under one roof!!

We leave tomorrow, at 11:15 from Hong Kong, then at 4:15 from Shanghai. We will be arriving at 4:45 in Chicago and then finally at 8:45 at home. Whew...what a long day for us! We will be traveling for almost 24 hours straight. We would love for anyone to meet us at the airport, but dont expect us to be looking pretty by then!! I have a feeling that my flight is going to seem a LOT longer with a busy 3 year old with us!!

We cant wait to see everyone!!

Blessings
Amy

I'm a little behind and am just now catching up on blogs-- so sad I didn't get to support you during your trip, but I can't wait to read all about it! You're in my prayers and will continue to be as you transition to your new life.
be blessed,
Courtney

What a great way to end your trip, spending time at HK Disney!!! We've now decided to follow suite and plan for Disney time ourselves, when picking up Sterling. Thanks for allowing us to follow your journey..what a joy each day to see how happy Sammy is with his forever family and more fun to come, when meeting his big brother and sisters! Prayers for an uneventful flight home.
