Technical issues....

Sorry for the delay in posting. I have had issues getting into the blog. I am in now, so we will see if this posts :-)

Things are continuing to go very well. We went shopping with Ann from Red Thread and she is AWSOME!!! We actually ended up using her for over 3 hours! Great deals on so much stuff...for those PAP's out there...DONT buy on the island...you will pay WAY too much!! (also dont eat on island...but that is an entirely different issue)

We are offically all offical now! Sammy/Yangyang is ours in every way. The second he steps into Ohare airport he will be a US citizen!! WOOO HOOO...we are offically tourists now!

Today we spent the day at the huge safari park in GZ. It was incredible! We hired a van to take us (2 families) and spent a great part of the day there! We got to hold boa constrictors and baby white tigers, feed giraffes and elephants, ride on an elephants back and some kiddie rides and see LOTS of cool animals. They have a TON of pandas!! and lions, tigers, bears, koalas, hippos, wolves, ect.... the first part is a drive through safari and then a walk through Zoo. Except, like the monkeys were just hanging out above our heads...no cages....the birds were free everywhere (the BIG birds of prey and parrots) I was only seperated from the pandas by a half wall of glass...you get the idea. Things would never fly in the US but super cool to see. The great thing was all the animals had really nice habitats and did not look to be mistreated or malnourished as they can be in other zoos in china!

We did our Red couch pictures as well, but Sammy wasnt feeling good after dinner (neither am I for that matter) I dont think the Pad Thai at the Thai place on the island was good...YUCK! For what it is worth, ask your concierge where to go off island to eat...trust me, it will be TONS better!!!

Tonight is our last night at this great hotel. Tomorrow at noon we leave for the train station and on to Hong Kong. Although I am excited to see HK and HK disney and more so to love on my kiddos back home, a part of me is sad to leave China. We have had such a wonderful incredible time and it is sad to think that Sammy wont know his homeland except through pictures....at least until we can get back for a homeland tour :-)

Sammy/yangyang is still doing awsome. he is just such a cool little guy with a definate personality. He is so stinkin independant, but yet wants to snuggle to sleep and be carried a lot! Boy am I glad that my sweet sisters pitched in and bought him a great stroller. His stamina is very short. He also is still using high chairs in resturants (NO table manners whatsoever if you happen to have a meal with us :-) so I am glad to have that at home too!!
For those of you who have asked sizes....I would say he is a 3T for fall. They are too big for him now, but by fall it should be good. He is just a little guy, but will grow quickly I am sure. It will be so good to have all my kids under the same roof and get back into our normal routine!!!

I cant get pictures on here for some reason today...so go check out my photostream on flickr to see pics!!! I will try to post them tomorrow!!

Talk to you soon from Hong Kong!!!
Blessings
Amy

Thanks for the update and the tip for the Zoo, we will have to look into that when it's our turn in China. Have a safe trip to HK and then home.
