We have had a whirlwind of activity lately! The kiddos went back to school on Thursday of this week. Very sad for me, I hate not having them home all day with me! Taylor started high school (wow am I that old???) and Em started middle school. 3 kids, 3 schools...wow, it is going to be a busy year this year...
Along with school starting...Zach has started football (I will post on some pics next week when he gets his jersey) and Taylor and color guard is still going strong with 3-4 day a week practices. Em is trying out for the school play so we will have a pretty busy fall once we finally get home and adjusted.
I had my last day of work for the next 12 weeks on thursday as well. My AWSOME coworkers threw me a little party and got Sammy some great items and we had some yummy food! One of the nurses in my office made me a gorgeous quilt for Sammys bed with his name and Aug 2009 on it! Totally priceless. I would have pictures of it, but Tay has my camera tonight...those pictures will have to go up later too :-)
On the adoption front....we are now in the single digits of our countdown! We leave in 7 days! This time next week we will be flying over the ocean on the way to get our son. It is still mindboggling to me. We have been waiting for so long and now time is flying by! Tim and I were watching TV and relaxing and I just looked at him and said "This will be the last Friday night EVER that Sammy wont be here!!!" What an amazing thought!! I cant hardly wait!!
