We have a rock star!!

It is actually hysterical! It seems as if everywhere we go YangYang is adored. We have all these random people coming up to him smiling and talking away to him (and us) and we dont have a clue! Obviously we are an unusual sight here in Nanjing! yangyang takes it all well, smiles and waves when we say Ni Hao Yang Yang and then goes back to sucking down whatever might be in his sippy cup at the time (we dont even know actually!!)

So after nap he woke up a happy camper again! we went to eat at KFC and he consumed an entire kids meal and some of mine too! Note to self...dont like chinese KFC...:-( Then he was just happy as a clam smiling and laughing and wanting to be held or holding our hands so again we went off in yet another taxi to the electronics store. Ummmm lets just say it was a HUGE store with no A/C and tons of people we were there forever, but our travl companions got a great price on a webcam and translator. unfortunately for us camera lens werent a great deal so we didnt buy anything, but Sammy did great! We decided to walk around Fuzi temple for a while and that is where he became a star!! The shopkeepers told me what he liked to drink through hand motions and boy were they right...he sucked it down QUICK! Gotta ask our guide tomorrow what it is!

We also had bathtime tonight! I am pretty certain he has been taken home at night since he jumped right in on his own and started playing and splashing and filling up water bottles and dumping them on his head!

This kiddo is just amazing! what an incredible first day that we have had together!!

Here is what you all are waiting for :-)

FIrst of all, I tried to warn you about the KFC. You MUST check out Yig Noodle. They have THE best fired rice and I am not a rice lover.

Anyway, Sammy is absolutely adorable. He is finally where he belongs. I cannot wait to meet him and more importantly, I cannot wait to get him and Drew together. They are going to be so fun to watch.

Love ya,
Mandi
